Each competitive event form specifies a maximum number of teams the venue and technical equipment can support. It also specifies an allotment of slots per college. The process works like this: slots are reserved for all interested colleges/faculty at the rate specified in the competitive event form. Each college/faculty sponsor is able to register a primary team and waitlist a second team. After all interest and registration is finalized, any remaining open slots are filled with waitlisted teams.
