Digital Design Challenges Gain National Attention!


Our ever-popular Digital Design Challenge is now open not only to students competing in the Arizona Games, but also to students nationwide. And that fact is gaining national attention. Take a listen to Amelia’s Fish Fry, a podcast from the EE Journal, a national engineering publication!

Digital Design Challenge (open to Arizona college students who are enrolled or have taken the introduction to digital design class)


Virtual Design Dilemma  (open to currently enrolled undergraduate college students at any level and in any North American location)


Helpful disciplines include:



  • Electrical, Computer Science and Computer System Engineering, Electronics and Manufacturing disciplines

  • Familiarity with Digital Logic Design, Xilinx ISE Software and an FPGA Development Board
