Great News - It’s an Avnet Tech Games Green Flash!

Did you know that Avnet is recognized as a leader in the “green” space having won multiple industry “green” awards? Are you concerned about the environment? If you are then this is a great place to show your abilities and participate in the Avnet Tech Games. The games below were designed to both educate and test your abilities to be green and earth friendly! Here are some of the “Green Games” that will challenge and reward participants --  

Accenture Green Data Center Challenge: Your team will make recommendations to improve an aging data center by making it more energy efficient. (open to Arizona college students)

Green Video Challenge: Here’s your chance to show off the green initiatives at your college by creating a video. Need some inspiration? Take a look at last year’s winning video! (open to college students nationwide) 

Solar Scrimmage: Design, build, test and present the best overall solar-powered "Green Energy" water pumping system. Teams will compete by assembling a solar powered water pumping and distribution system.

Winning team members are eligible for scholarship dollars! Please pass the word along to fellow students and faculty members across the nation!
