Arizona Onsite Competitive Event: April 9, 2011

The Avnet Tech Games began as a one-day competition with a series of events open to Arizona college students. These games are now referred to as the Arizona Onsite Competitive Events, which will take place next on April 9, 2011 at the University of Advancing Technology in Tempe, Ariz. Once registration opens in late fall 2010, Arizona college students are invited to sign-up with a sponsoring faculty member.

Eligibility Criteria

The 2011 list of competitive events will be posted in late fall 2010. The games will be similar to the 2010 competition, which included:

• Accenture Green Data Center Challenge
• AMD Build, Troubleshoot & Tune the Fastest Computer
• Digital Design Challenge
• Networking Within the Enterprise
• Patch Panel Madness
• Project Greenlight - Solar Powered LED Challenge
• Robot Race Obstacle Course
• VMware Virtualization Challenge
• Win The Pitch – Event Creation
